Quip CLI

What is it?​

​ Quip CLI is a powerful command line interface that makes developing, publishing, and releasing Quip Live Apps easy. You can use Quip CLI to: ​

• Initialize a new Quip live app project
• Manage your live app’s versions
• Publish live apps to your Quip site
• Release live apps to developers, beta testers, or everyone on your site
• Create migrations to make changes to your live app’s data model ​

Getting Started​

​ You can quickly get up and running with Quip CLI: ​

1. Ensure that you have a modern version (v10+) of Node.js installed on your machine.
2. Install Quip CLI with this command: npm install -g quip-cli.
3. Follow our Hello World Tutorial to build your first live app. ​
